Description

Water detector for the base of the SP310 alarm series from Safe2Home.

The water detector can be easily attached to a washing machine or in the boiler room, for example, by sticking it on.

The sensor reports as soon as both contacts on the radiator get wet.

When the sensor detects wetness, it sends a signal to the base and informs you via SMS/call/wifi notification.

An audible alarm can also be triggered.

Please change the zone type of the sensor to „Water/Fire“, so that the sensor is permanently active.

Rolling code

Each contact/sensor has a rolling code. This means that as soon as a radio signal (e.g. window opening) is emitted, the sensor generates a new code so that it cannot be intercepted and used by unauthorized persons.

Example: In the past, it was possible to intercept the radio signal of the remote control from a car and thus open the vehicle; this is not possible with the SP310.

2-way communication:

The SP310 base has 2-way communication.

This means that the sensors and base communicate with each other (via radio). A query of the radio signal and the battery status of the sensor is carried out automatically every 5 minutes. If, for example, a sensor does not send a signal (e.g. because it is switched off due to an empty battery), the base unit immediately checks for the missing signal and sends a message via the app and displays this on the base unit.

In addition, you can manually query the radio signal and battery status via the app, or set the query frequency of 5 minutes as required.

Another advantage of the SP310 is that each contact has its „own zone“.
This means that each contact can be renamed individually via the app. You have a full overview of where which detector has been installed. In addition, the zone type can be changed via the app or base (e.g. delayed triggering of the alarm / silent alarm).
