Description
The motion detector for the base of the SP310 alarm series from Safe2Home.
The detector has an integrated infrared sensor.
If the motion detector detects movement, the sensor immediately sends an alarm signal to the base and an alarm/intrusion alarm is triggered. In the event of an alarm, an SMS/call/wifi notification is immediately sent to your smartphone.
The motion detector should be mounted/screwed at a height of 2 - 2.5m.
It is important that the sensor does not point directly at a window pane or is mounted above a heat source (fireplace, heater, etc.).
Different zone types adjustable
You can set different zone types for this sensor in the basic menu or via the app
The most important zone types for everyday use:
Burglary:
Alarm is triggered directly in the „armed state“
Derasure:
Alarm is activated in the „armed state“ after the set
Delay time triggered (recommended)
Fire / Gas:
Alarm is always triggered (in armed and disarmed state)
Deact. :
No alarm is triggered (sensor is deactivated)
Sharp / Blurred:
When a sensor is triggered, the system is armed/disarmed. For example, for a lock cylinder.
Bell:
The sensor emits a "ding-dong" sound when sensors are triggered.
No alarm is triggered. You will still receive a push message.
Rolling code
Each contact/sensor has a rolling code. This means that as soon as a radio signal (e.g. window opening) is emitted, the sensor generates a new code so that it cannot be intercepted and used by unauthorized persons.
Example: In the past, it was possible to intercept the radio signal of the remote control from a car and thus open the vehicle; this is not possible with the SP310.
2-way communication:
The SP310 base has 2-way communication.
This means that the sensors and base communicate with each other (via radio). A query of the radio signal and the battery status of the sensor is carried out automatically every 5 minutes. If, for example, a sensor does not send a signal (e.g. because it is switched off due to an empty battery), the base unit immediately checks for the missing signal and sends a message via the app and displays this on the base unit.
In addition, you can manually query the radio signal and battery status via the app, or set the query frequency of 5 minutes as required.
