Smoke alarm with permanently integrated 10-year battery for the basis of the SP310 alarm series from Safe2Home.
This radio smoke alarm alerts you in the event of smoke. Even if you are not at home, you can be informed via the alarm system (basic) by SMS/call/wifi notification.
The photoelectric smoke detector is compatible with the alarm system of the series SP310. However, it can also be used individually without the alarm system. When the alarm is triggered, a signal is sent to the base. It sounds the alarm and you receive an SMS or call (if your number has been stored).
You can connect multiple smoke detectors to the SP310 base. The smoke detector has a diameter of 11 cm and a depth of 4 cm. The alarm has a volume of 85dB.
The smoke alarm can be mounted on your ceiling using the screws or adhesive pads supplied.

Important: Test the function of the smoke detector manually at regular intervals using the test function button (on the front). The battery is permanently installed and must not be removed. If the smoke detector has been integrated into the alarm system, the zone type must be changed to fire/fire. This means that the smoke detector is active in „armed and disarmed mode“.
Rolling code
Each contact/sensor has a rolling code. This means that as soon as a radio signal (e.g. window opening) is emitted, the sensor generates a new code so that it cannot be intercepted and used by unauthorized persons.
Example: In the past, it was possible to intercept the radio signal of the remote control from a car and thus open the vehicle; this is not possible with the SP310.
2-way communication:
The SP310 base has 2-way communication.
This means that the sensors and base communicate with each other (via radio). A query of the radio signal and the battery status of the sensor is carried out automatically every 5 minutes. If, for example, a sensor does not send a signal (e.g. because it is switched off due to an empty battery), the base unit immediately checks for the missing signal and sends a message via the app and displays this on the base unit.
In addition, you can manually query the radio signal and battery status via the app, or set the query frequency of 5 minutes as required.

Another advantage of the SP310 is that each contact has its „own zone“.
This means that each contact can be renamed individually via the app. You have a full overview of where which detector has been installed. In addition, the zone type can be changed via the app or base (e.g. delayed triggering of the alarm / silent alarm).
